MIZUTANI PAINT CO.,LTD.

We exhibited at the Asia Pacific Coatings Show 2012 held in Jakarta, Indonesia on Wednesday, September 19 and Thursday, September 20. The number of exhibitors this time was 172, a significant increase compared to the previous event in Singapore which had 101 exhibitors. Among the exhibiting countries, Chinese companies were notably prominent after local Indonesian firms. We exhibited water-based, environmentally friendly floor coatings and roof coatings, promoting them to Indonesian paint manufacturers and receiving unexpectedly positive feedback. Solvent-based coatings still dominate the Indonesian market, and environmentally friendly, high-performance coatings utilizing Japanese technology appear to be highly anticipated there. We hope to contribute to Indonesia’s environmental challenges through our coating products. We plan to systematically advance technical partnerships and cultivate overseas business as a future pillar of revenue.

Held annually since its inception in 1990, this exhibition targets paint manufacturers and industry professionals, similar to the European Coatings Show in Germany and the American Coatings Show in the United States. Exhibitors provide the latest information on raw materials (pigments, resins, additives, solvents), paint manufacturing machinery, testing/measuring equipment, and software to paint manufacturers and related professionals. Recently, it has been held every two years in Jakarta, with the other three host cities being Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur on a rotating basis. This highlights the focus on the Indonesian market within Southeast Asia.
