Regarding Our Company’s Damage Situation and Future Response to the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake
We hereby inform you of the damage sustained by our branches and factories due to the Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, and our future response as follows.

1. Damage Status at Our Branches and Factories
1) Human Casualties
At this time, there are no human casualties among employees or their families.
We have also confirmed the safety of the sales representative stationed at the Sendai Office.
2) Damage to Buildings and Equipment
At the Saitama Factory, we have confirmed damage, including damage to some equipment.
2. Operational Status
As of 9:00 AM on Wednesday, March 16, operations have resumed at the affected Saitama Factory. For details, please contact the Saitama Factory directly.
3. Future Response at the Saitama Factory
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our valued customers. The Saitama Factory will make every effort to address the situation and kindly requests your understanding and cooperation.
4. Future Response
The entire company is working to ensure stable product supply. However, we anticipate challenges in securing raw materials. We have already confirmed supply arrangements with each raw material manufacturer. However, there are concerns regarding the securing of raw materials used in some products, and disruptions to future production are anticipated.
Regarding logistics, delivery delays or the inability to deliver to certain areas are anticipated due to traffic restrictions and fuel supply issues. We will do our utmost while coordinating with our carriers.
